For people complaining about price I can tell you this much, I was a sucker and went with the "cheap" route and bought $450 a Secret Lab chair. I have back problems from it. It's a pile of trash. There's no cushioning in the seat itself, my old basic office chair was more comfortable. Don't cheap out on your chairs. 1000 bucks truly isn't outrageous to ask for a quality chair. The 3 things in life you shouldn't cheap out on are your bed, your shoes and your chair as you spend the majority of your life in all 3.

The only cruise I ever go on is 70000 Tons of Metal which is a metal music festival aboard a cruise ship! I do it every year. The festival charters an entire Royal Caribbean ship (Freedom Class last several years, either Independence of the Seas or Freedom of the Seas). It's a very different experience since you're constantly running to see the 60 bands on board! That celeb ship looks much more fancy. I'd like to see how it compares to the Oasis RC class ships.

That's a good bottle of Scotch up there, one of my favorites. Didn't think engineers had that much class ;). Congrats on retirement, I just finished 40 years myself and looking to expand my "Room/s" as well and this vid just gave me a bunch of ideas. Good luck on the move!

I was in their store and tried sitting in one of these chairs but then realised I was stuck and couldn't get out. I was a bit surprised when the salesman walked up and started punching me. LOL

Hoping that your MOZA AB9 FFB Base review is not too far away. As it's now available for pre-order and apart from the MOZA Team making their entry announcement into the flight sim community made at Flight Sim Expo 2024 in Las Vegas a week or so back, have only seen it in action on FS Expo display booth floor vids and a flight sim content creator pre FS Expo initial impressions review. Looking forward to your up coming review on the MOZA Flight grip/stick FFB base, handling in DCS with your collection of Virpil grips.

is anyone else bothered by how clean, neat, tidy that place is? is it so surgical that i think i dont like it. please throw some jackets into the corners, empty boxes by a chair, random cups and bottles all around in the new place. so i dont feel near as poor

Congratulations, sir - you've earned it. While many may immediately see the beautiful work you've built in your (old) studio, many will not compute the man-hours and sacrifices and difficult decisions required to make it so. I salute your efforts that built all of it. Also a huge shout out to minute 1:25 and 3:45 for your military service, having served with the RCAF reserves myself I think you deserve more credit for those medals that all fit neatly into one picture frame than ALL of the mind-blowing tech stuff you have accumulated through other means. Bottom line - full respect to you - and I wish you all the best in your next chapter. Cheers to you, and - Per ardua ad astra.

I definitely need a new chair. My current chair would fit the Drake aesthetic, after my pup (now dog) took a chunk out of it 30 seconds after I got off it. I've been eyeing up the lambskin chair. I just need to find one locally that I can try before I buy.

I'm sorry but I live in the south and aint no way in hell anyone in the south, even in the dead of winter, is getting a chair that has wool or what appears to be wool as a seat cover. I got my gaming chair a few years ago and I use it probably 12+ hours a day at my computer and it only cost $600. Before that I used an executive chair and while the seat was still good after a couple years of continuous use the arm rest were peeling pretty badly and causing issues so I upgraded. I could tell instantly the seat was not as good as I had though but I still have it out in my garage when messing with my lawnmower or what not. I saw the prices for the chairs that they have and sorry I can't see the justification especially from a company that puts out ships on a website for several hundred dollars. I mean for a company that has over $700 million for an alpha game and is still making money on jpegs you would think they could partner for cheaper chairs that have equal if not better quality. I say better only cause I don't know the actual quality from looks.

I have been watching since your first Star Citizen video. I'm surprised to find I actually feel nostalgia for a game room that isn't my own. I used to comment quite a bit, but don't find as much time for UA-cam anymore. Best of luck with the new place.

When I was a teen, I moved from a small rural town to the city for work. When I retired, I moved from the city to the mountains, in a town of 1800. It was difficult giving up that city home, being so close to everything, lots of memories built in that house, great neighbours (I married one of them), and fantastic views of the river. Now I have a house I'm renovating, building those memories once again. The bonus is, I can afford to do a lot more here, than I could in the city, have a river flowing by the rear of the property, far more space to build various sheds I need, but now I'm surrounded by forests, rivers, and clean air.

Seems like a lot of scratch for what you get. By the time you add 2 mounts and the brakes that's a more than proper ergo chair that'll last 2 decades or an actual simpit, possibly both. I know it's boutique but damn, feels like you should at least get the mounts bundled. Still, they look cool with the branding and people will buy them, so good luck to them, still a very cool product.

Zero regrets buying my monstertech chair. Its worth the price. I dont think im going to need to replace it, anytime soon but having a customized version would have been very tempting.
